We are Maximilian Rindfleisch (20) and Mona Nielen (19), the Change Writer. In 2011 we finished high school, and since then we work as Youth-Journalists for the online Magazine for Wuppertal, called “Njuuz”. Change Writer is a project, which evolved out of the Pilot Youth Changemaker City Wuppertal, from the Ashoka Youth Initiatives. Our original goal was to enlighten, to inform and to report about engagement, to raise awareness in the direct environment and motivate to more own commitment. Due to our long lasting work with the Media Project Wuppertal, the medium film has become more and more important for us.  That’s why we have decided to leave to South Africa from January 19th until July 15th 2012, to make a documentary film about the resistance against regime of Apartheid in South Africa.

We're both Muslims and married since the 12th November 2011.
