APARTHEID

Apartheid does not happen spontaneously, like bad weather conditions.
Jonathan Kozol

Apartheid was a system of racial segregation enforced by the National Party governments of South Africa between 1948 and 1994, under which the rights of the majority non-white inhabitants of South Africa were curtailed and white supremacy and Afrikaner minority rule was maintained. Apartheid was developed after World War II by the Afrikaner-dominated National Party and Broederbond organizations and was practiced also in South West Africa, administered by South African under a League of Nations mandate (revoked in 1966), until it gained independence as Namibia in 1990.

THE START

Hi

now that we're almost a week in Cape Town we want to give you some impressions from our home and especially our way of living in Southafrica.
We didn't yet started to interview people but we made contact to a few people which we would like to have in our documantary.
So for now we're enjoiying ourselves and the weather and the people and the landscape and almost everything... except the mosquitos! ;)

keep well!
